A Random Thought

Posted on

My life has changed in a way beyond my wildest imagination within a short span of time. On a Good Friday night I suddenly remembered my long forgotten blog – The Lively moments.

“Yes, it’s always about the moments we truly lived”. So I’m back here to fill this space with some beautiful memories and profound thoughts.

Jeena Issi ka naam hai (This is what life is all about)

Posted on

kisi ki muskurahato pe ho nisar,
kisi ka dard mil sake toh le udhar,
kisi ke waste ho tere dil me pyar,
jeena issika nam hai.

mana apni jeb se fakir hain,
phir bhi yaro dil ke hum amir hain.

mite jo pyar ke liye woh zindagi, jale bahar ke liye woh zindagi
kisi ko ho naa ho hame toh aitbar, jeena isika nam hai.

rishta dil se dil ke aitbar kaa,
jinda hai hamin se nam pyar kaa.

ke mar ke bhi kisi ko yaad aayenge,
kisi ke aansuo me muskurayenge,
kahega phul har kali se bar bar,
jeena issi kaa nam hai.

This is a beautiful song from an old Hindi movie , it describes what is life all about.  The English translation goes like this:

To offer yourself to someone for smiles,
To share someone’s grief,
To have love in your heart for someone,
This is what life is all about.

Granted, we are poor, by the standard of our pockets.
Even so, we are rich at heart .

Perish for love that is Life,
Crave for spring that is life,
This we believe, though others may not,
That this is what life is all about.

Relationship between the heart and the hearts trust,
The name of love lives on because of us.

Even if we die, we will be remembered by someone,
That we will smile through someone’s tears,
A flower will tell a bud, on and on,
That this is what life is all about!!!

The Secret between the Sea and the Sun

Posted on

 The secret….

Always there is some secret shared between the Sea and the Sun ,

Which is unknown to the Wind.

But the Wind grows suspicious of their eloquent glances.

So the Wind blows the clouds and hides the Sun from the Sea.

But the Wind doesn’t know,

Always there is some secret shared between the Sea and the  Sun,

And the Sun sets deep into the Sea forever.

Century Park

“In the middle of the busiest city , you can feel a blissful peace.”

I wonder how I missed to visit this beautiful park for past 2 months. Century park which is the largest park in Shanghai is situated in Pudong Area. The nearest Metro Station is Line 2 – century park. The entry fee is 10 yuan. It is a must visit place in Shanghai if you love parks and gardens. It is well maintained and has different styles of landscaping.
